Allyson, owner and visionary of Citrine Salon, has a natural passion for all things hair.
Known throughout the Hudson Valley Area for her blondes, lived in color looks and beachy waves.
Allyson specializes in blondes, lived in color, balayage and dimensional color.
You will notice that Allyson stays on top of the newest trends, and takes prides in customizing her clients hair to their lifestyle + needs.
Her loyal following is proof that she is worth traveling from near and far for an appointment.
Allyson has been featured multiple times on industries largest platforms, including Behind the Chair, American Salon, Modern Salon, Best of Balayage, Masters of Balayage + more! Published in Beauty LaunchPad magazine for 30 under 30 top colorists 2021, Published in Modern Salon magazine for Top 100 Stylists 2022 and won Best of Hudson Valley hairstylist!
She has taken trainings with some of industry’s leading educators and is an independent educator herself. Her desire to constantly perfect her craft in this ever evolving industry and share her knowledge with clients and stylists is what fuels her passion.
Behind the chair for 16 years, Allyson’s dream was always to create a space for her clients that would feel like home. A place to go and feel relaxed, be pampered and the energy is high vibe!
She prides herself in this hair home she has created for her current and future clients and her team.
A place to grow and evolve and leave looking and feeling great!
When Allyson isn’t behind the chair or in her office working on the back end of Citrine, she is spending time with her husband, Cheech, son Ridge + dogs! She loves a trip to home goods (or target), a cup of coffee and a good read on her kindle!
FUN FACT: Allyson loves interior design and fashion.

Meet Kailee, our red hair specialist and short haircut guru at Citrine! A graduate of Capri Cosmetology, she has a true passion for the beauty industry and loves creating dimensional, effortless color that feels completely YOU.
While Kailee has a love for blondes, lived in brunettes, and bouncy blowouts, her true specialties are lived-in color, blondes, and especially reds and coppers.
Her calm, chill energy makes it easy to relax, chat, and enjoy some time for yourself. Kailee also loves educating her clients on an at home hair care routine and helping them find the right professional products to keep their hair looking and feeling its best between appointments.
When she isn't in the salon, you'll find Kailee spending time with her fiancé and her dog. She also loves thrifting, roller skating, and winding down with a good true crime show or comedy.
FUN FACT: Kailee is a big fan of astrology.

Evelyn's desire to become a stylist was fueled by the creative component of our industry alongside making people feel like their best selves! She has a passion for updo's and styling, and is one of our stylists on our Bridal team at Citrine! She also has a love for creating gorgeous colors whether you are looking for a lived in look, blonde or a pop of vivid color! And we cannot forget her stunning layered haircuts and bouncy blowouts!
Evelyn started with us as an assistant, went through our emerging stylist program, learned hands on with our team, and now has advanced her career into stylist! She loves to stay on top of trends, consistently learning and is excited to bring your dream hair goals to life!
When Evelyn isn't in the salon, she is at her second job, walking her dog Max, or spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends! She is a big lover of reality TV!

Alyssa specializes in blonding and creating beautiful dimensional colors. Her energy is lively and bright, and she brings her own unique style to our space. If you're looking for a good laugh, she is your girl! [our in house citrine comedian]
Alyssa's passion for this career, stems from being able to connect with all different types of people while making their hair dream comes true! Alyssa's says her favorite part about being a hairstylist is seeing her clients faces when they love their hair, "Seeing the genuine happiness in their reaction is the best" She has 5 years of salon experience, and loves to stay on top of trends and learn new techniques.
When Alyssa isn't in the salon, you can find her spending some quality time with her son, Matteo and daughter Stevie, exploring new playgrounds and parks or watching True Crime documentaries.
FUN FACT: Alyssa doesn't like sweets or fruits!

CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS
Meet Alex, our salon coordinator and Allyson’s right-hand! She plays a key role in helping assist with daily systems and operations, handling schedules, client communication, and contributing her creative touch to content creation and planning our Citrine events. Many of you already know and love her, and we’re thrilled to have her as an essential part of the Citrine team!
Alex takes pride in providing an exceptional client experience, from the moment you inquire about scheduling, to our booking process, to the moment you walk in!
When Alex isn't in the salon, she is at her second job, or spending time with her son, Walker and enjoying a trip to Target!
FUN FACT: Alex had bright red hair for the first 1/4 of her life. AND she danced for 15 years!

LEAH
SALON ASSISTANT + EMERGING CITRINE STYLIST
Meet Leah, our salon assistant at Citrine!
With a love for all things beauty from a young age, Leah decided while in high school to attend BOCES Ulster County to turn that passion into a career.
Today, she is continuing to grow through our Emerging Stylist Program, building her skills, confidence, and experience behind the chair while offering select services at Citrine.
She loves supporting our stylists, pampering our clients, and taking every opportunity to learn and grow. Her passion for beauty extends beyond the salon, too, you can also find her at Sephora, where she loves helping people feel beautiful and confident.
When we asked what her favorite part about Citrine is, she said:
"The culture! You can truly feel how much the stylists care, the strong meaningful connections they build with their clients and each other, and the collaborative energy that makes it unlike anywhere else.
