SALON POLICIES

NEW CLIENTS
A credit card is required to be kept on file to schedule any service with the team at Citrine. Once you have submitted your consultation form and have received a date/time for booking the team will retrieve this information from you. This will confirm your booking with our team.
Your card will never be charged unless you violate our Cancellation/No Show Policy. Please read below.

CONFIRMATION CALLS/TEXTS
As a courtesy, 72 hours before your appointment you will receive a confirmation text that you will need to reply "C" to confirm.
However if you do not confirm via our systems text, one of our team members will call you 48 hours beforehand to confirm your booking.
 If we are unable to reach you, we will leave a message to call/email back to confirm. 

Please understand, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and our cancellation fee.

 

CANCELLATIONS

A credit card is required to book an appointment with the team at Citrine.

In the event that you would need to cancel, or reschedule an appointment, We hold a

firm 48 hour notice policy.

- Regardless of reason any cancellations made 48 hours within the booked appointment time will result in a 50% of the booked service charged to the card on file through our automated system.

- Any no show or same day cancellation will result in 100% of the booked service charged to the card on file through our automated system.

If you need to cancel your appointment please call the salon at 845-605-1788 and speak with a team member.

If you are calling over the weekend please note your Tuesday appointment must be cancelled on a Saturday or to contact via email before 48 hours in respect of these policies.

SERVICE DOWNGRADES
If you need to adjust the service in which you are booked for, please contact the salon before the 48 hour notice.
Downgrading a service
day of (changing from color and haircut, to just a haircut)
will result in the charge of the full service booked.
Please keep 
this in mind when our team calls to confirm your booking.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENT

If you are dissatisfied with your hair, please contact the salon directly. We will be happy to make small adjustments within 7 days of your original service date. Anything after 1 week will be subject to charge.

NO SHOWS
 
Not showing up to your appointment isn’t kind. We respect your time, so you should respect ours. If you do not show to your appointment, your reserved card will be charged the amount of the service you are booked for, or there will be a balance to pay when rescheduling.

tand that upon booking we reiterate these policies upon retrieving your credit card information. We understand life happens, but we are a running a business.
We ask you please understand and respect our policies before booking.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

 As a business in the Hudson Valley, we keep an eye on inclement weather during the winter months. We will contact you within 24 hours of your appointment if we are closing or rescheduling clients. We typically wait to see what the weather is going to be like at the 24 hour mark, before we make the decision to open or close the salon.

If you aren't comfortable with waiting to know/may feel uncomfortable driving please contact the salon to reschedule your appointment.

We will absolutely close the salon when we are advised to stay off roads, and bad road conditions to keep our team and clients safe and we will not charge cancellation fees for appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled due to salon closing.

However, if it is a normal winter snow, we typically stay open and you can expect to come in for your appointment. Again if you feel uncomfortable driving in, please contact the salon 24-48hours before your appointment to avoid any cancellation fees if the salon is open.

REFUNDS 
 We do not offer refunds of any kind.

GIFT CARDS

 

 We love being apart of a gift you may give a loved one, friend, or client. When you purchase a gift card from us, they carry a 1 year expiration date, and a promise to give the recipient the best Citrine experience we can!

WIFI AVAILABLE

 

 Please feel free to bring your device, tablet, or laptop with you to your appointment. Enjoy our color bar table to its full potential. We just ask that devices be used on "silent" or with headphones to ensure a relaxing experience for all.

GRATUITY
Gratuity can be left in cash or via the Venmo app. We do not allow tips on cards.

PRICING STRUCTURE

 

Services at Citrine vary depending on your stylist chosen, length of hair, thickness of hair, time required and product used.

All of our services are a starting at prices and can increase due to what is stated above.

TARDINESS
We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However depending on the circumstances, we may be forced to shorten the type of service you receive that day, or reschedule your appointment.
